Andrea Primmer Physiotherapy

Andrea has devoted her time working with babies and children of all ages to help them achieve their fullest potential.  She graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy after completing an Honours Bachelor in Physical and Health Education degree at Laurentian University. Andrea has worked in peadiatrics throughout her career in a variety of health care settings. She worked at Holland Bloorview in the areas of Specialized Orthopedic and Developmental Rehab, Neuromuscular and Neuromotor programs and was involved in the Lokomat research projects with the Holland Bloorview Research Institute.  She is now working doing community therapy in Simcoe County. She has taken a variety of post-graduate courses including Introduction to Paediatric NDT by Shelley Mannell, Pediatric Foot and Ankle Deformity management by Beverly Cusick, A Systematic, Intensive Approach to Maximize Neuroplasticity and Minimize Maladaptive Habits in Children and Teens with CP by Pia Stampe.  Andrea is a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists in Ontario. Andrea provides home visits in Collingwood and Wasaga Beach.
